Terms of Service

1. Provider and scope

Kugiro (the "Service") is provided by Aleksandra Kurzewska, Berlin, Germany. Contact: contact@kugiro.com. These terms apply when you request access, create an account, or use the Service. The Privacy Policy explains how personal data is processed.

2. Service and beta status

Kugiro finds third-party job listings, ranks them against your search profile, offers optional CV-assisted suggestions, and provides a private workspace for reviewing jobs. The Service is currently free and in an invite-only beta. Beta features may contain errors or experience interruptions. We do not promise a particular number of matches, an interview, or employment.

Any mandatory statutory rights concerning digital services, including applicable rights under Sections 327 et seq. of the German Civil Code (BGB), remain unaffected.

3. Eligibility and account security

You must be at least 18 and use an invited email address. Keep access to your email account and sign-in links secure. Accounts are personal and may not be shared. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Permitted use

• Use the Service for your own lawful job search.
• Do not access another user's data or circumvent security or access controls.
• Do not interfere with, overload, reverse engineer, or automatically scrape the Service.
• Do not resell or systematically redistribute job data obtained through the Service.
• Do not use the Service in a way that violates law or third-party rights.
• Only upload content you are entitled to use. Avoid unnecessary sensitive information in your CV.

5. Job listings and third-party sites

Listings originate from third-party sources. Kugiro is not the employer, recruiter, employment agency, or a party to any application or employment relationship. We do not control or endorse listings and cannot guarantee that they are complete, current, lawful, or still available. Check the original posting before applying or sharing information. Third-party websites are governed by their own terms and privacy notices.

6. Scores and AI features

Match scores, CV extraction, relevance assessments, and keyword suggestions are produced automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable. They are organizational aids, not legal, career, or professional advice. You remain responsible for application decisions and for reviewing content before relying on it.

7. Your content

You retain your rights in your CV, profile, and notes. You grant us a non-exclusive, limited right to host and process that content only as needed to provide and secure the Service for you. This right ends when the content is deleted, subject to short-lived backups and legal retention duties described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of content you provide.

8. Availability, maintenance, and changes

We do not provide a service-level guarantee for the free beta. We may perform maintenance or temporarily restrict features for security, capacity, legal, or technical reasons. We may change the Service for a valid reason, including adapting to law, closing a security issue, maintaining technical compatibility, or improving existing functions, provided this does not impose additional cost on you.

We will give appropriate notice of material changes. If a change affects your access or use more than insignificantly, any statutory information and termination rights, including Section 327r BGB where applicable, remain available.

9. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, injury to life, body, or health, fraudulently concealed defects, guarantees, and liability required by law. For slight negligence, we are liable only for breach of an essential contractual obligation whose performance is necessary for the contract and on which you may ordinarily rely; that liability is limited to foreseeable damage typical for the contract. Any mandatory consumer or product liability remains unaffected.

10. Ending the Service

You may stop using Kugiro and delete your account at any time. We may suspend access immediately where reasonably necessary to address a security risk, unlawful conduct, or a material breach. We may end the free beta for other reasons with reasonable advance notice. Where possible, we will allow time to export your data before closure. Statutory termination rights remain unaffected.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the Service or law changes. We will notify you of material updates in a clear form before they take effect. A change that requires your agreement will not take effect merely because you did not object.

12. Governing law and disputes

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of habitual residence remain unaffected. We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
